Tolon has a special place in government’s heart: retain NPP for more dev’t-Sammi Awuku charges

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku has impressed upon the people of Tolon in the Northern Region to lend their support to the Party by voting massively for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Alhaji Habib Iddrisu as their Member of Parliament for continued development.

According to the workaholic NPP National Organiser, Tolon has a special place in the heart of the NPP and government, dating back to when the late Tolon Naa, Alhaji Yakubu Taali became running mate then Victor Owusu who was presidential candidate for the PFP, a part of the Danquah-Dombo- Busia tradition.

According to Mr. Awuku, this special connection and bond between the area and the NPP accounts for the numerous development projects under the current government.

Mr. Awuku who, together with Regional executives of the NPP in the Northern Region have been engaging communities in the Tolon Constituency as part his campaign tour of the Northern region, said 10 villages in the area has benefited from government’s 1 Village 1 Dam initiative while 15 communities have been connected to the National grid.

Additionally, Mr. Awuku said the area has tremendously benefited from government’s Planting for Food and Jobs and the Free Senior High School policies among others.

He assured them of President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to ensure the rapid development of Tolon and its environs and urged them to help realize this goal by voting for the NPP in the December 7 elections.
