The NDC will be more media friendly during my tenure as chairman-Ofosu Ampofo

Newly elected national chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has indicated his resolve to work with the media in the country in the party’s quest to broaden the democratic credentials of the country.

According to him, the media has a critical role to play in the country’s democracy and must be brought on board to help in the realization of that objective.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo who was delivering his victory speech also called for the party to bond and work in harmony for the realization of the vision of the party for the country.

He said the bickering in the party must stop, particularly using social media platforms to denigrate each other, adding that instead of using social media to destroy the party, it should rather be used to build the party.

He assured his colleague contestants that they will all have key roles to play in his administration and that they will all be brought on board to help deliver victory to the party in election 2020.
