Stop the overbearing and intimidating behavior-Rawlings speaks on deployment of Military at borders

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has waged into the brouhaha surrounding the deployment of military personnel along Ghana’s borders.

A statement issued by the former President and sighted by BestNewsGH.com said the deployment has created so much suspicion and calls for intelligent flexibility and diligence.

The former President said the restrictions emanating from COVID-19 have created enough difficulties for most citizens and that the situation should not be exacerbated by overbearing and intimidating behavior towards the country’s border dwellers whose livelihood depend on activities along the border

Mr. Rawlings further called for fairness and justice ahead of the compilation of a new voter’s register for the 2020 elections.
