Sammi Awuku to be enstooled as Apagyahene of Mampong Akuapem tomorrow

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku will tomorrow Tuesday September 10 2019 be enstooled as a chief at Mampong Akuapem in the Eastern Region.

Also due to be enstooled is Deputy Transport Minister, Daniel Nii Kwatei Titus Glover, who is also the Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency.

Mr. Awuku will be enstooled as the Apagyahene of Mampong while Mr. Glover is billed to be made the Mampong Asomkahene.

The event will take palace at the forecourt of the Mampong Palace at 10am.

In his remarks ahead of the enstoolment, Mr. Awuku expressed profound thanks to Nananom and the Mampong Traditional Council for their continuous show of love and support over the years.

‘’Many thanks to Nananom, the Traditional Council and the people of Mampong for your continuous show of love and support for me over the years as your son and kinsman.’’ the iconic and hardworking NPP National Organiser averred.

Mr. Awuku who is also the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency added that ‘’I owe you alot and I will continue to support in which ever way I can in the development of the area. I remain eternally grateful for your kind understanding of my current situation and inability to go through the chieftaincy process at this stage of my political development. I am sure at the right time, God will make things beautiful for me and the narrative will change. All the best to my senior brother, MP/Deputy Minister Hon. Titus Glover as you enter a new phase of your life tomorrow.’’
