The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku today shocked the Party’s Parliamentary Candidates for the Kade and Lower West Akim Constituencies when joined them to embark on door-to-door campaigns and community engagements, unannounced.
The reliable and hardworking NPP National Organiser who has been traversing the nooks and crannies of the Northern part of the country campaigning with the party’s Parliamentary candidates, surprised the party’s supporters and candidates in the Eastern Region when he appeared during their campaigns unannounced.
This threw the supporters, sympathizers and the candidates themselves into a frenzy, upon sighting Capo, as the iconic NPP National Organiser is called, in their midst.
Joining the Parliamentary candidates and various volunteer groups, Mr. Awuku touted the achievements of the NPP under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, explaining that the only way to secure Ghana’s future was to retain the president to consolidate the gains that has been made so far.
Mr. Awuku who is also the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency said the second term of President Akufo-Addo will ensure a transformed country that places premium on youth development, leveraging on already existing programmes and policies including new ones which will be introduced.
While commending the various volunteer groups across the country for the massive campaigns they are prosecuting for the party in the quest to retain the NPP and President Akufo-Addo in power, Mr Awuku said ‘’ Let’s end the year with a massive victory for President Akufo Addo and all our Parliamentary Candidates nationwide’’
He added that ‘’In the coming days I will be surprising many of the volunteer groups by joining them in the house-to-house campaigns as we approach December 7th.’’
