Sammi Awuku storms Volta Region: meets transport operators and driver unions-discusses gov’t policies

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Sammi Awuku has been touring the Volta Region over the last two days on a working visit.

The iconic and charismatic young politician has been meeting some driver unions and transport operators in the regional capital, Ho.

The visit afforded him and his team, the opportunity to interact with the transport operators and driver unions, to share government policies and programmes with them and to get feedback on how these policies have affected and impacted the lives of the people in the region.

Mr. Awuku was impressed with efforts by the leadership of the transport operators and driver unions to address concerns of their members.

He described the meetings in the region as largely successful.

Mr. Awuku took to his Facebook Page after the visits and wrote:

 

‘’Together with my team, I have for the past two days been engaging shop owners, drivers unions and transport operators in Ho,Volta Region.

I used the platform to inform  them about H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s policies, programmes and achievements.

I also solicited feedback on how these policies have impacted the lives of the good people in the region.

I commended their efforts in ensuring the concerns of  their members were well addressed.

It was a successful interaction and also great to note they appreciate the President’s effort in transforming Ghana.
