Sammi Awuku back in Volta Region; meets lotto operators, Okada riders, petty traders, Ghetto boys etal

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku is back in the Volta Region interacting with various sections of the trading public, ahead of the 2020 elections.

This is the second time within a fortnight that the hardworking NPP National Organiser has visited the backyard of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mr. Awuku who touched base in the Region yesterday, Tuesday, August 20, 2019, joined Regional Party Executives in to engage Party  Executives from the various constituencies on issues of national interest.

Capo as the iconic and charismatic NPP National Organiser is affectionately called, took time off to visit and interact with various traders in the region including driver unions, Okada riders, lotto operators, petty traders and ghetto boys among others.

He also interacted with residents of the region and elicited feedback on government policies from them, while explaining the rationale behind some of the policies.

Mr. Awuku who also doubles as the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency, reiterated President Nana Akufo-Addo’s commitment to a prosperous Ghana.

He expressed joy at the level of appreciation of government policies and programmes by the people who showed visible excitement at the good works of President Akufo-Addo’s administration.

Mr. Awuku lauded the Regional NPP executives for working hard to make the visit a success.

He said ‘’Kudos to the Regional Chairman, my indefatigable Regional Organiser and the rest of the Executives who made it possible for us to touch base with the various groups in the Region. ‘’
