Sad: 2 Ghanaians die in US; one was hit by a train in Newark

Tragedy has befallen the Ghanaian Community in the United States of America following the death of two men.

One of the deceased, named as Charles Osei-Fosu is reportedly the son of a staunch member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in New Jersey, by name Kwame Osei-Fosu.

BestNewsGH.com reports that the 21 year old Mr. Osei-Fosu met his untimely death at about 8:10pm on Sunday night in Newark.

BestNewsGH.com confirms a New Jersey Transit spokesman as saying on Thursday that Mr Osei-Fosu who lived in Union County was hit by an eastbound Raritan Valley line train near the bridge on Peddie Street.

He was a 2017 graduate of Union High School where he ran track.

His father, Mr. Kwame Osei-Fosu is said to be one of the members of the NPP US Chapter to have contributed to Ghana’s Covid-19 National Trust Fund.

The second victim, Kwaku Duah is said to have passed on in New York.

Sources indicate that efforts to trace his relatives have not bee successful.
