The Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mr. Sammi Awuku is cautioning the generality of the Ghanaian people to be wary of the activities of a company by name ‘Swift Business Loans’ which is using his image to perpetrate fraudulent deals on social media in the guise of running a loans scheme.
According Mr. Awuku who has since issued a disclaimer and distanced himself from the activities of the fraudulent entity, the public must be alert in order not fall victim to the scam.
Below is the disclaimer issued by Mr. Awuku
‘’My attention has been drawn to this page Swift Business Loans with my photo representing themselves to be a financial institution and deceiving the unsuspecting public.
I would like to state categorically that the aforementioned page is fraudulent and does not belong to me neither am i associated with the business. I implore the general public to disregard the page and also beseech my friends on Facebook to report the page.
Members of the public are advised to be cautious.
