Three men suspected to be armed robbers have been arrested by the police after they snatched a lady’s handbag from its owner in broad day light.
Thinking the bag contained cash and other valuables that they could sell, the robbers had the shock of their lives when they realized the content was fufu and soup neatly packed in polythenes.
Luck eluded the three after they were given a hot chase by a nearby rapid enforcement team who chased and apprehended them after the victim raised an alarm.
They have since been in police custody, assisting with investigations.
