Commissioning of 307 Ambulances ‘’President Akufo Addo has fulfilled his Manifesto promise to Ghanaians’’ – Dr Nsiah Asare

President Akufo Addo has been applauded for fulfilling his Manifesto promise to the Ghanaian people .

Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare nick named Dr Drones who is also the Presidential Advisor on Health and the immediate former Director General of Ghana Health Service during interviews with the media at the commissioning of the 307 Ambulances at Black Star Square yesterday, Tuesday 28, 2020, spoke about the fact that the government has fulfilled this laudable Manifesto promise of strengthening the National Ambulance service.

BestNewsGH.com reports him as saying ” Government has procured 307 state of the art, fully equipped Ambulances for all the 275 constituencies and the remaining 32 at hot spots along the major highways.’’

He continued that “Plans are put in place to set a robust system to sustain the National Ambulance Service .  The Ambulances are fitted with digital systems to track the.’’

“The Ambulance will be maintained regularly by the National Ambulance service and not the various constituencies ” Dr. Nsiah Asare further averred.

Dr Nsiah Asare  also revealed that , the new number 112  which will go to the National Ambulance service, the Police, Fire Service and NADMO is connected to GPS

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the commissioning of the 307 ambulances also launched the new National Emergency Number, 112 which when called will go direct  to the National Ambulance Service , the police Service , the Fire Service and NADMO .
