The Port of Tema Operations Team has bid farewell to outgoing Port Security Manager Col. Joseph Malik Punamane who has served since November 2017.
The Ag. Director of Port Mrs. Sandra Opoku on behalf of management and staff expressed appreciation for his hard work and dedication to duty citing numerous occasions where Col. Punamane has acted swiftly in the interest of the Port.
“Every time you call him to help he is available to help and ensures that things are put together. I admire him for that,” she said.
Other members of the team shared their fond experiences while working with him and wished him well in his new endeavours.
Col. Punamane expressed gratitude to his superiors, the Board, management, staff of GPHA and the Port community for the opportunity given to him to serve at the port.
“I am very grateful to everyone for the support given to me because without you I wouldn’t have achieved all the good things you have said about me,” he said.
