The ZRP is warning the public from buying meat from unverified sources and dealing with any wildlife products without a licence.
On Sunday, November 10, 2019 at about 1900 hours, Police in Victoria Falls arrested 5 men for contravening the Parks and Wildlife Act.
3 suspects were found selling a fresh lion head and skin in Victoria Falls CBD. The lion remains were in a Toyota GAIA vehicle and after arrest, the 3 suspects led the Police to the other 2 accomplices at Katombora National Parks.
Impala horns, Impala skin, Kudu horns, Kudu skin and Warthog teeth were also recovered. The accused persons will appear in court soon.
