Pro-National Democratic Congress (NDC) vigilante group, Al Qaida yesterday attacked and manhandled the party’s Northern regional secretary for organizing and chairing a meeting which was not sanctioned and authorized by the regional chairman Chief Alhaji Ibrahim Molbila.
There appears to be a turf war within the ranks of the leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the region, resulting in some tension between the regional chairman and the regional secretary, Salisu Be-Awuribe.
