Pastor arrested for stealing bus; granted 20k bail

Head Pastor of the Glorious Resurrection Chapel International,  John Jeffry Adjei who has been charged for stealing including other five accomplices have been granted bail in the sum of 20,000 with two sureties each.

BestNewsGH.com investigations reveal that Pastor John Jeffry Adjei was arrested by the Tema Divisional police upon a a complaint by a proprietor of a school,  Modern International School, that the suspect through a junior pastor Paul Tetteh, sold a bus to him but  later came back in the company of some four other pastors to forcefully drive the bus away with a spare key.

The suspect has maintained in his statement that only 3000.00 of the total amount of 18000.00 cedis paid for the bus was given to him hence his action.

After the Prosecutor Wisdom Kenny Dzokoto read the charges of stealing and fraudulent breach of trust, abatement and conspiracy against the first, second and the other four accused persons respectively, the Tema District court presided over by her Ladyship Akosua   Anokyewa Agyepong   granted the accused persons to a bail of 20,000 cedis each to reappear in court on 20th January 2020.
