Parliament approves Dr Okoe Boye as Deputy Minister for Health

Parliament has approved the nomination of Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye as Deputy Minister for Health.

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency and Board Chairman of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital was recently nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as Deputy Minister of Health as the country continues with steps to contain the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Dr. Okoe Boye appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, where he put up a spirited performance to the admiration of both the committee Members and sections of the public.

Approval of Dr. Okoe Boye’s nomination was contained in a report by Parliament’s Appointments Committee under the leadership of Deputy Speaker, the Rt. Hon. Joseph Osei-Wusu.

The report according to BestNewsGH.com sources shows a unanimous endorsement of Dr. Okoe Boye’s nomination.
