Osei Kwame Despite and brother donates US$100,000 to KATH to fight COVID-19

The Chairman of Depite Group of Companies, Osei Kwame Despite and his brother, Ernest Ofori Sarpong who is also the Chairman of Special Group of Companies have donated a cash sum of One Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (US$100,000) to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) as their contribution towards the fight against the COVID-19 virus in the country.

BestNewsGH.com can report that the donation which was done today in Kumasi is to help administrators of the Hospital acquire the requite tools and medications to aid in the fight against the virus.

The Businessmen cited the proximity of the KATH to, not only the people of Kumasi and its environs, but people from neighboring regions, particularly the middle-belt as the reason they chose to support it instead of any other facility in the country.

They impressed upon management of the Hospital through the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Oheneba Owusu-Danso to endeavor to put the money to judicious use to ensure the facility is well equipped to tackle and contain the virus.
