The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), the iconic and hardworking Sammi Awuku has charged the people of the Dormaa East Constituency to vote massively for the NPP in the upcoming general elections for continued development.

Mr. Awuku who is on a campaign tour of the Bono Region alongside the Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency and the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, told the people to vote for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP Parliamentary candidate for the area Paul Twum Barimah on December 7.

Mr. Awuku reminded the constituents that apart from benefiting from the various interventions introduced by the current administration under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, some Four Thousand (4,000) farmers in the constituency have benefited from over Seven Hundred Thousand (700,000) seedlings under the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative.

According Mr. Awuku, the constituency has also been blessed with a poultry processing factory under the One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative, which has opened up job creation opportunities for the youth of the area.

The quintessential Sammi Awuku recalled the sorry state of the constituency during the erstwhile NDC administration under John Dramani Mahama, explaining that a vote for the NDC in the December polls is a vote for retrogression and backwardness.

He added the 2020 election is a must win for the NPP and that members, supporters and sympathizers must unite in the quest to stop the NDC from ever returning to political power in the country.
