NDC race: Goosie Tanoh’s agents protest printing of ballots, calls for process to be stopped for lack of transparency

Agents for one of the presidential candidate aspirants of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Goosie Tanoh have protested the continued printing of ballots papers for the February 23, 2019 presidential primaries, inspite of several calls for the process to be halted.

They cite lack of cooperation and transparency in the process and have therefore written to the chairman of the elections committee, Kofi Attoh of their protest and request for the printing to be stopped with immediate effect until their grievances are addressed.

A protest letter signed by the four agents argue among other things that till date they have not received any formal communication on the number of ballot papers that are being printed.
