Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has clinched the national chairmanship slot of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the ongoing national delegates conference of the party.

He beat stiff competition from Alhaji Huudu Yahaya, Dan Abodakpi and Betty Mould-Iddrisu among others to emerge leader of Ghana biggest opposition party.

The incumbent General Secretary of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has also retained his position by humiliating his main challenger, Koku Anyidoho with what has been described as a very big margin.
