An elderly man has refused to go home in accordance with his country’s government’s directive to stem coronavirus.
The Man from Kalamata says staying at home with his wife is worse than coronavirus and will therefore not go home.
The Greek government has recommended older citizens stay at home in order to prevent contracting the virus which has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation.
BestNewsGH.com reports the man as saying he prefers to die outside from the coronavirus than to die locked up with his ‘bigger coronavirus wife’.
This was after he was asked by a local news reporter, why he refused to comply with the government directive to stay indoors.
