The McDan Foundation has donated one hundred (100) desks to the La Presbyterian Senior High School Accra to facilitate teaching and learning.

This was after it came to the attention of the Foundation that first-year students of the school had no desks and had to resort to sitting on cement blocks in their classrooms to learn.

The donation forms part of the McDan Foundation’s mission of providing learning materials for all.

BestNewsGH.com reports the Foundation as saying its commitment to education, lifelong learning and improving communities in which it lives and operate is a core value.

A statement on the Foundation’s social media page added that ‘’We will continue adding value and implementing sustainable projects in underserved communities to leave an impact.’’

Chairman of the McDan Foundation who also doubles as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the McDan Group, Dr. Daniel McKorley said “Education is not just a ladder of opportunity but also an investment in our future. I’m proud of McDan Group’s investments in education. It warms my heart to see these kids being given the opportunity that they deserve to learn and grow into citizens that’ll do us proud.’’
