McDan Boss urges Muslims to reach out to destitutes as they celebrate Eid Al-Adha

The Executive Chairman of the McDan Group, Dr. Daniel McKorley has urged Muslims across the globe to use the occasion of Eid Al-Adha to show love and compassion to the vulnerable, poor and needy.

In a statement wishing the Muslim Community a happy Eid Al-Adha which falls today July 31, 2020, Dr. McKorley said ‘’Times like Eid are special as they bring together in celebration our diverse and vibrant range of Muslim communities living in Ghana.’’

The Business Magnate who is known for his huge philanthropic works in Ghana and beyond, said ‘’As we celebrate this day of our own spiritual development, we must not forget our brothers and sisters across the globe who are going through hardship and challenging times.’’

Dr. McKorley who has also been at the forefront of championing the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic entreated Muslims not to forget their brothers and sisters who have been impacted by the Pandemic.

He opined that ‘’I urge you to participate in this course which will assist in bringing a smile on their faces and in particular for the destitute who have been victims due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic.’’

He added that ‘’My appeal to all Muslims communities worldwide is to seek your valuable contribution and support which will benefit the poor and needy people across the globe who are crying for assistance.’’
