Veteran Journalist and former Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Ben Dotsei Malor has taken a dig at the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi for politicizing the death of Black American George Floyd with a cartoon.

Mr. Gyamfi has come under massive criticism from sections of the public after he tweeted a cartoon which sought to portray that the cruel way and manner in which Mr. Floyd was murdered, is the same cruelty that is being meted out to Ghanaian voters by government and the Electoral Commission.

He has since maintained his stance on the matter, offering various reasons to justify his action.

But Mr. Malor who is a former Journalist with the BBC, is not enthused at all about Mr, Gyamfi’s action and has called on him to apologise.

In a Social Media Post sighted by BestNewsGH.com, Mr. Malor wrote ‘’ “GHANA: Has the “Cartoon Guy” apologised yet? Does he realise that what is wrong is wrong? Could he man up, please.”

Many have lampooned the NDC Communications Officer for politicizing an issue as sensitive as the murder of Mr. Floyd which has gained global attention and led to demonstrations across the world.
