The Lobi Youth Association has sent a congratulatory message to the president (the equivalent of a Regional Minister) of the Bounkani Region, Hien Phillipe who has been elevated to the position of Coordinator of all regional coordinators.
Ivorian President, His Excellency President Alassane Dramani Ouattara presented a plaque to Hien Philippe at a ceremony in Abidjan to mark the 59th independence anniversary of the Country.
A statement signed by the Lobi Youth Association and signed by its General Secretary, Choritey Cantan Charles read in part that ‘’the Lobi youth appreciate your efforts to lift up the image of the country, the subjects under you and the name of Lobi in General’’.
The Lobi tribe comprises seven dialects and in Ghana there are the Lobiri and birifor dialects.
The Lobi people are found in Ghana, Burkina Faso and Code’ voire.
