The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne has described the National organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams as a person who operates based on loose thinking, twisted thinking and warp logic.

According to him, recent assertions by Mr. Adams that former Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was the first to visit president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo when he was declared the winner of the 2016 elections and so is the president’s close friend can only be borne out of illogical reasoning and ignorance.

Mr. Pyne explained that even if it was true that Mr. Nyantakyi was the first to visit and congratulate the president, he would have done so in his official capacity as the president of the Ghana Football Association and not merely because he is a friend to the president.

“Kwesi Nyantakyi was then the president of the Ghana Football Association, a key stakeholder in governance in this country. And so as head of the FA if they elect a new president and he goes there to congratulate him, you sit there and say because he went there, he is a friend of the president. What kind of loose logic is that? That twisted thinking, warp logic are things we shouldn’t entertain and encourage in this country” he said.
