The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) will from tomorrow, Monday December 3 2018 begin the use of an electronic platform for the registration of vehicles in the country.

A statement issued by the Authority and signed by the public relations Manager, Francis Asamoah Tuffuor said the move is aimed at drastically reducing the time spent at the DVLA offices and to prevent overcrowding.

The statement advised vehicle owners to desist from seeking help from middle men, popularly known in local parlance as ‘goro boys’ to avoid being swindled.

The statement added that without a tax identification number (TIN) no vehicle owner can register his or her vehicle, adding that it is prerequisite for the registration process.
