Just in: decomposed body found in parked taxi in Tema

Information reaching BestNewsGH.com from Tema indicates that an unidentified body, in a state of decomposition has been found in a taxi parked at Tema Community 22.

The Opel Astra caravan with registration number GT 6718-19, deep blue and yellow colour containing the body was said to be parked opposite a popular drinking spot in the area called ‘SIGNATURE’ over the past three days, according to neighbours.

The side address of the car reads ‘George Tetteh, Post Office Box 301, Tema’

The suspicion of neighbours and passersby was heightened today, Saturday, June 8 2019 when they began to smell some strong and pungent odour from the direction of the parked taxi, leading to the discovery of the already decomposed body in the rear seat of the cab.

Eye witnesses who spoke to BestNewsGH.com say they suspect foul play.

The Ashaiman Divisional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Mr Sammy Amissah when contacted by this Website said the police was not aware of the incident.

He added that he was going to dispatch detectives to proceed to the scene to verify the situation and commence investigations immediately.
