It is my permanent style to out-compete younger people-Tamale Mayor brags about his ‘dope’ dressing

The Mayor of Tamale has said he is currently 47 years old and looks younger because it is his permanent style to out-compete younger people.

According to him, age is just but a number and a matter of the mind saying ‘’ I don’t deliberately try to look younger, it is my permanent style to out compete younger people and I am doing just fine ‘’.

Iddrisu Musah Superior as usual took to his Facebook Wall to voice his thoughts, this time on aging and how it is a natural occurrence that will definitely catch up with everyone.

‘’I am 47. I am getting old. Infact, I am old. It comes with the wrinkles on my rather smooth younger face some few years ago. I love my grey. This is generic though. Every single day, I see a good reason for my “transition”. It is worth it. Misconceptions about aging are easy to come by. Age doesn’t actually define who a person is. Old age cannot be equated to being grumpy, depressed, irritable, or angry. Some younger persons are most guilty of these negative attributes. At 47, I feel more powerful in self-control and more independent in everything’’ he wrote.

He added that ‘’let’s embrace old age, respect the process and carry on with what is beneficial to us as we grow older in this very modern, complex and stressful society. It is MANDATORY that we will all “transit” into this misunderstood, “dreadful” status of our lives. Don’t be deceived. It will catch up with you. Just feel and be young in the mind. Today is NOT my birthday. I just posted what came on my mind this morning’’.
