If you gossip to me about anyone, I’ll tell them and mention you-Tamale Mayor warns visitors
The Mayor of Tamale, Iddrisu Musah Superior has warned visitors to his office to refrain from any form of gossip when they pay him a visit.
According to an important notice boldly and neatly couched and placed in his office, the Mayor is emphatic that gossip of any form or shape is not allowed in his office.
The ‘Important Notice’ sighted by BestNewsGH.com, courtesy Lawyer Sulley Sambian, the North East Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) read in part that “Gossip of any form or shape is not also allowed here.”
It continued that “Please do not talk about people negatively here. If you do, I will inform them.”
Mr. Superior went further to warn also that “Do not also inform or report to me about people making unkind comments about me. I will ask and mention you to them”.
Lawyer Sulley Sambian who spotted the notice in the Mayor’s office when he paid him a visit today, Tuesday, April, 28, 2020 wrote on his Facebook Page that ‘’I went to my Lord Mayor’s office (IDDRISU MUSAH SUPERIOR) to gossip, but upon seeing this notice conspicuously welcoming me, I advised myself. We maintained social distance. We had our masks on, though I must admit his had style.’’
