Immediate past Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs has made a strong case for NDC deputy General Secretary hopeful, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, saying any delegate who refuses to vote for her is a witch.
According to the outspoken politician, Ms. Serwaa Asamoah is one of the dedicated and committed members of the NDC who has paid her dues and needs to be rewarded to continue to help improve the fortunes of the party.
He said while Ms. Asamoah was the deputy lands and natural resources minister in the John Dramani Mahama era, her office was usually open 24/7, combining party matters with government business, adding that she has all it takes in terms of experience and expertise to deliver in the office of deputy general secretary.
‘’They should vote for her. She has what it takes in terms of competence, experience and expertise, she has the party at heart and has suffered for the it. Anyone who votes against her is a witch.’’ He said.
