The Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Sculpt Centre, Dr. Dominic Obeng Andoh has once again called the bluff of the Ghana Medical and Dental Council, asking them to go to hell and that he will continue to operate his facility which has been ordered closed by the Council.

The founder of Obengfo Hospital has been in a tango with the Medical and Dental Council over issues of licensing, with the Medical and Dental Council accusing him of not having the requisite licenses and documentation to practice.

The case is currently pending in court, but the hospital is in full operation with the Medical and Dental Council resorting to makeing public announcements, warning the public not to patronize the facility as they do so at their own risk.

But speaking on an Accra based radio station, Dr. Obeng Andoh insists he is qualified to conduct breast and buttocks operations for purpose of enlargement and enhancement, adding that the Medical and Dental Council cannot stop him.

‘’I used to work at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and the Korlebu Teaching Hospital, why didn’t they ask me at the time if I was a licensed doctor. Whatever I am doing at my facility, I have the license, the documentation and the expertise to do that’’ he noted.

According to him, he has renewed his license as a medical doctor and does not owe the Medical and Dental Council a dime, adding that he has practiced for a very long time without challenges.

He however fell short of indicating whether his license permitted him to go into the area of operating, enlarging and enhancing breasts and buttocks.
