Gov’t cuts fuel allocations for appointees by half

Beginning April 1 2022, all government appointees will see their fuel allocation reduced by half as part of efforts to cushion the economy.

The 50 Percent reduction in fuel allocation is seen as a major in attempts by government to ensure prudent spending in the management of the economy.

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta at a press conference in Accra on Thursday, March 24, 2022, catalogued measures that has been instituted by government to  to cut down on the cost of managing the country’s economy.
