‘’Ghana must prosper, but we need strong will to get there’’-McDan Boss

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel McKorley has stated his optimism for the prosperity of the country.

According to the philanthropist and Business Mogul, there is need to muster courage and strong will in order to set the nation on the path to absolute prosperity.

Dr. McKorley who made the declaration while inspecting the progress of work of the La Community Astro turf project, reiterated his commitment and determination to help bring prosperity to the generality of the Ghanaian people, especially the youth.

He has been at the forefront of youth empowerment through the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge in which he coaches, mentors and selects between ten and twenty youth and supports them with One Hundred Thousand Dollars to inject into their start-ups and businesses.

Dr. Mckorley is also involved in several projects including the construction of classroom blocks for various schools, offering scholarships to needy students through the McDan Educational Foundation, as well as the provision of amenities and facilities for several communities across the country.

With regards to the La Community Astro turf, he averred that the facility will be ready for commissioning before the close of the year.

While promising to tell the full story of the journey so far which he describes as tough, Dr. McKorley announced that even though the youth of La remains his focus, widows will also be supported during the yuletide celebrations.

‘’The children and youth of La Community remain the focus but our widows won’t be left out in this Christmas.’’ He pointed out.
