‘’Focus on your books and forget about love letters’’-Sammi Awuku admonishes SHS students

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku has admonished students, especially those in Senior High Schools to focus on the studies and forget about writing love letters in the name of falling in love.

According to him, such attitude only tend to distract them from the cardinal objective of learning and becoming achievers in future.

The hardworking NPP National Organiser who was addressing students and and stakeholders of the Presbyterian Senior High School in Mampong, Akuapem during their Student Representative Council (SRC) Week Awards and Entertainment night explained that people who indulge in such acts while in school most of the time are not able succeed in life.

He entreated them to identify and select good role models who will mentor and guide them as they chart the paths they intend to take into the future.

The students on their part could not hide their joy as they sang praises of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP government for the Free Senior High School Policy.

Mr. Awuku was joined by the Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapem North Municipal Assembly as well as other very distinguished and important personalities.
