Talented Ghanaian musician, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, popularly known as KK Fosu has indicated his intent to contest the Akuapem North Constituency Parliamentary seat in the Eastern Region in the 2020 elections.
BestNewsGH.com is informed the musician who is a multiple winning artiste is likely going to contest the election as an independent candidate.
BestNewsGH.com sources indicate he has premised his quest to contest the election on his desire and conviction that it was time to give back to the youth of Akuapem through empowering and inspiring them to higher heights.
“The youth of Akuapem North want me to contest for the seat and I have decided to contest come 2020 and hopefully I can impact the youth by empowering them,” he said.
KK Fosu described as hardworking and talented, the youth of Akuapem, explaining that it was his desire to see them put these talents to use for the benefit of the entire area.
Should he go ahead to contest the seat, he will be up against Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah, the current Member of Parliament for Akuapem North who also doubles as a Deputy Minister of Information.
