EC must learn from Health Minister’s COVID-19 positive status; new register is a recipe for mass infection-PNC

The Peoples’ National Convention (PNC) is calling on the Electoral Commission to rethink its decision to compile a new voters register for the 2020 elections.

The Party, in a statement signed by its National Chairman Bernard Mornah said the fact that the Minister for Health, the Hon, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has tested positive for the Virus is evidence that observing all the safety protocols does not guarantee the safety and security of Ghanaians.

The statement which is in the possession of BestNewsGH.com read in part that ‘’With his position, he followed religiously the safety protocols of hand washing with soap under running water, regular use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, wearing of a nose mask and observation of social distancing. All these notwithstanding, Hon Kwaku Agyemang Manu still contracted the disease.’’
