“Your life is NOT over after incarceration”!
The decisions I made in college is what landed me in Federal Prison. I have always taken full responsibility for my actions and the consequences that followed. No, I didn’t want to go to prison, but I had to self surrender.
Even during my incarceration, I was uncertain about life and my future. But the one thing I NEVER did was count myself out. While I was incarcerated I kept a journal and would always write down my goals and how I wanted my life to be when I was released. And while everything did not go exactly how I wanted it to go, it never stopped me from writing down my goals and speaking them into my life!
The last thing on my mind was having a relationship with anyone. But yet, my guy remained CONSISTENT when it came to visitations, phone calls and writing. And if you know anything about prison, nothing compares to when hearing your name being called during MAIL CALL 😫.
No matter what we experience or go through in life, always know your WORTH. I don’t care how messed up your past was, never allow ANYONE to make you feel unworthy.
