Government has appointed Dr. Alhassan Anamzoya as the interim Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority.
His appointment follows the dismissal of Dr. Abdel-Majeed Haroun as Chief Executive.
The letter revoking his appointment was dated December 12, 2019 and signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante and did not assign any reason for the decision of the President to fire him.
Sources within the Authority suspect it has to do with some underhand shady dealings which will soon become public.
The new Chief Executive Officer is a lecturer at the University of Ghana.
