Dozens burnt to ashes in ghastly accident on Kintampo-Tamale highway

Dozens of people have been burnt to ashes following a ghastly accident on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway, on Monday morning.

The incident which occurred at about 4 am involved a Yutong bus and a mini sprinter in a head-on collision.

BestNewsGH.com sources indicate that both vehicles burst out in flames soon after the collision, resulting about 15 passengers getting burnt beyond recognition in the process.

Aziz Mohammed, the Assembly Man for Babatokuma, who confirmed the unfortunate incident to this website noted that the accident occurred between Dawadawa number 2 and Kawampe.

He said “We have been to the scene and I can confirm to you that about 15 persons have been burnt beyond recognition. The others who sustained various degrees of burn injuries have been rushed to the Kintampo and Techiman Hospitals.’’
