The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Sammi Awuku has cautioned the generality of the Party’s Members, supporters and sympathizers against being complacent in the wake of favourable prophesies towards the party’s victory in the 2020 elections.
Several Men of God during the annual 31st December Watch Night service, predicted and prophesied emphatic victories for the ruling NPP in the 2020 general elections.
But the dynamic, charismatic and hardworking NPP National organizer says in as much as he is a firm believer in the Christian faith, he is not oblivious of the fact that prophesies alone do not win elections.
Commenting on the recent prophesies on his Facebook Page, Mr. Awuku who is also the Board Chairman of the Youth Employment Agency observed that ‘’As National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, I am certain that prophecy alone will not win any political party or candidate an election anywhere in the world especially if the public refrains from the entire electoral process’’.
Mr. Awuku explained in a message cited by BestNewsGH.com that such prophesies even though are in favour of the party, must be backed by serious, rigorous and unyielding hardwork in order to secure the much desired victory.
‘’Admittedly, prophecy must be backed by hardwork, determination, discipline and dedication to achieve the needed results, and this is amplified in the Holy Quran 13:11 and Zechariah 4:9. Basically, these verses urge us to take the first step in everything and the Good Lord will bless our efforts to achieve the desired results.’’ he further opined.
Mr. Awuku assured that together with his colleagues at the national level, they were prepared to play their part to ensure a big victory for the NPP in the 2020 elections.
He said ‘’As National Organiser and together with my colleagues from National to the Polling Stations, we are prepared to do our part to work hard to rally round our President and provide our government with the needed support to trumpet our significant achievements to the electorates to ensure another BIG VICTORY in 2020.’’
