Details: John Maham funds Y3npini Demo with 1 Million Ghana Cedis

BestNewsGH.com can report that the Y3npini demonstration organized by the main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, with support from some minority parties was funded by former President and NDC Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

The amount involved totaled some 974, 900 Ghana cedis.

A letter making the request and signed jointly by Bernard Mornah, National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Joshua Akamba, National Organiser of the NDC, Hassan Ayariga, Founder and Leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC) and Nana Agyenim Boateng of the UFP and in the possession of BestNewsGH.com read in part that the demonstration was to attract some 20 thousand participants.

A summary of the budget sighted by BestNewsGH.com saw the cost of accommodation being pegged at 12,600 Ghana Cedis, Transportation, 400, 000 Ghana Cedis, Feeding, 200, 000 Ghana Cedis and Logistics, 120, 000 Ghana Cedis.

The Y3npini demonstration came off on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 in the Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi and was the second in the series of demonstrations lined up by some opposition political parties against the compilation of a new voters register by the Electoral Commission.
