As many as thirty four (34) persons have perished in a car accident near Komenda Junction in the Central Region.
BestNewsGH.com sources report that the accident, involving 2 Yutong buses collided head-on in the wee hours of today, Tuesday, January 14, 2020.
Police reports confirm that one of the buses, red in colour, was traveling from Accra to Takoradi and moved in to overtake a vehicle ahead of it, but ended up running into the oncoming white Yutong bus which was bound for Accra, from Takoradi.
The drivers of both buses were said to have died on the spot.
