Private Law Firm, Kulendi@Law, owned by Supreme Court Nominee and Private Legal Practitioner, Mr. Yonny Kulendi and Scanport Limited have donated various items to the Upper West Region as their contribution towards the fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The items were donated today, Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
The items include 155 N99 respirators (Face Masks), 3, 400 Surgical Masks, 18,000 Nitrite gloves, 4, 000 disposable aprons, 50 washable PPEs, 4,000 sleeve covers and 8,000 hair covers.
The rest of the items are 4,000 shoe covers, 55 gallons of 4.5 litre hand soap, 60 dispensers of 500ml hand soap, 48 gallons of 4.5 litre hand sanitizers, 280 dispenser size 250ml hand sanitizers, 72 paper towels (Papa Jambo), 4,250 cut off toilet roll, 18 Infrared gun thermometers and 6 buckets of Chlorine (4.5kg).
BestNewsGH.com is informed the items will be distributed evenly among the Wa General Hospital, in the Regional capital, and each of the Health Centers at Daffiama, Bussie, Fian, Issa and Kojokperi, all in the Daffiama-Issa-Bussie District.
The items which were received by the Chief Executive for the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa (DBI) District, Nadi Imoro Sanda on behalf of the Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih has since been airlifted to the Region for onward distribution to the beneficiary facilities.
Obviously one of Ghana’s finest legal brains, Mr. Kulendi told BestNewsGH.com in an interview that he was hopeful the donation will provoke and incentivize other public spirited individuals and organisations to come out in droves to support in whatever way they can, as the country strives to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
He averred that the items are for the use of front line Health Service workers who continue to put their lives at risk in service to the generality of the Ghanaian people in spite of the increased risks of Covid -19.
‘’May God take account of their labor and sacrifice and bless every health service professional out there in a special way’’ he opined.

Boateng (Rtd) & Mr Michel Sauoda, Executive Chairman and Executive Director of Scanport LTD, and Mrs Emefa Hodo-Kulendi, an Executive Director of Kulendi@Law.
