COVID-19: 3 million Ghanaians to be infected, 15, 000 to die-Dr. Nsiah Asare

Some Three Million (3, 000,000) Ghanaians are projected to catch the deadly COVID-19 virus, according Dr. Anthony Nsiah Asare, the President’s Advisor on Health.

BestNewsGH.com reports him as positing during a live television interview that One Hundred and Fifty Thousand (150, 000) people out of the Three Million (3, 000,000), representing Five Percent (5%) will fall seriously sick.

He further explains that Ten Percent (10%) of the very sick 150,000 persons are projected to die from the virus.

Dr. Nsiah-Asare was explaining the rationale behind the lifting of the partial lockdown by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
