At a time when the entire nation has joined the rest of the world to initiate measures that will mitigate the impact of global pandemic, CoronaVirus, COVID-19, one man has stood out and is about making a huge difference and impact as far as the fight is concerned.

Dr. Daniel McKorley, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies is leading the charge to offer local entrepreneurs, financial assistance to produce locally made hand sanitizers in the country.

Dr. McKorley who is also the Founder of the McDan Foundation which runs the annual McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge (MEC), has announced that any one willing to use raw materials like local gin (Akpeteshie) to produce locally made sanitizers will automatically gain financial support from the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge.

BestNewsGH.com can report that the offer comes amid complaints by sections of the public about the high cost of hand sanitizers in the country.

This emanates from what seems to be a deliberate attempt by vendors of these sanitizers to cash in on their wares, taking advantage of the craze for them.

Dr. McKorley who only recently dolled out a 100 thousand United States Dollars to overall winner of Season 1 of the McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge, announced on his Facebook Page that “As we prepare to launch McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge Season 2, global pandemic COVID-19 is threatening our livelihood, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Ever thought about producing locally made sanitizers with local ingredients like Akpeteshie? McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge will support any innovation in this regard..Call 0558640759 now, there’s funding for you.
