The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Ian Walker will be riding a bicycle from Accra to Paga in the Upper East Region to raise funds for the Korlebu Burns and Plastics Unit.
According to the British Diplomat, he will cover the 800 kilometer journey in August 2019 and will also use the opportunity to see Ghana from a different perspective and meet people in their own communities.
Mr. Walker took to his twitter handle to make the announcement saying ‘’In August this year, I plan to cycle from Paga to Accra. Covering 800km in a week, I want to see Ghana from a different perspective & meet people in their own communities. I’m hoping to raise money for Korle Bu Burns & Plastics Unit. Will be seeking ideas as the plan develops!’’
