Information available to BestNewsGH.com indicates that former ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Kwadjo Adjei Opare Hammond has passed on.

He passed on at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2019, where he was on admission receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

He was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Precious Mineral Marketing Company Limited (PMMC).

He also served as Director of Finance and Administration for the NPP at some point.
