Be agents of change-Headmaster of Faith Community School urges students

The Head Master of Faith community Baptist school, Tougbe Gala Fiakwei has pledged his commitment to continue to raise students with good morals who will become agents of change in the Ghanaian society.

Addressing the 2019 graduants of Faith Community Baptist School, Tougbe Fiakwei said, the vision of the Founding Father of the school, Rev. Dr. Oduro Mensah was to instill good morals, discipline with strong academics to help students who pass out of the school to become agents for nation building, a vision he said continues to drive the existence of the school.

Faith Community Baptist School since its establishment in September 1989 has produced so many human resources into the various sectors of the Ghanaian economy who are extremely contributing their quota to nation building.

Though the school has had several graduation ceremonies, this year marks a unique milestone of the school, being the 30th anniversary of the school with the theme “thirty years of comprehensive education; the role of the founder.”

The event brought together students and pupils from the Basic, Junior and Senior High School, parents, teachers, Board of Directors of the institution among others.

The ceremony was charged with an atmosphere of cultural performances, drama, singing and a display by the school cadet making the day a memorable one.

Students from the Junior High School and the outgoing students who have successfully completed their course and also excelled in various academic endeavors were given awards and certificates of recognition.

The Head Master of Faith Community Baptist School, Tougbe Gala Fiakwei in an interview pledged his commitment to continue to raise students with good morals into the Ghanaian society.

He said the vision of the founding father of the school Rev. Dr. Oduro Mensah is to instill good morals, discipline with strong academics to help students who pass out of the school become agents for nation building.

Yaa Asantewaah Antwi, a JHS student who was adjudged the overall best student received the Founder`s Award which is the first ever awards scheme instituted since the establishment of the school.
