The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has stressed that importance of attitudinal change and domestic resource mobilization towards the realization of government’s vision of a Ghana Beyond Aid.
According to the vice president, it behooves the generality of the Ghanaian people individually and collectively to contribute in whichever way they can, particularly beginning with a change in attitude to help realize the vision of president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the ruling New Patriotic Party government of becoming a nation that is self-sufficient.
Dr. Bawumia made the call when the leadership of the Church of Pentecost and Pentecost University College, led by Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost called on him at the Jubilee House Thursday, January 31, 2019.
The two sides discussed issues of national interest.
The delegation shared the rich experience of the Church of Pentecost in using their own resources to develop the church in diverse ways.
Dr. Bawumia assured that government will always be open to suggestions from organizations like the church that are aimed at developing and transforming the country.
